Answers to the common questions, and a real person when those aren’t enough.
When you add your kid in Havenlit, you get a 6-digit code. Install Havenlit on their iPhone and enter the code within 72 hours. They don’t need an account, an email or a password.
When a plan like “home by 10” passes without a check-in, your kid gets a nudge first. If they still haven’t checked in, the parent on duty is told, then every parent. “I reached her” closes it for everyone.
A discreet “get me out, no questions” alert your kid can send at any time. On their screen it looks like any other message. You can call them straight away and share your location with them until you arrive, for up to an hour. The X is deleted after 24 hours, and it’s free on every plan.
Only when your kid adds it to a check-in or a ride request, and never in the background. Kids 10 to 12 choose every time. For kids 13 to 17, a parent can set check-ins to include location, and your kid can see that you did. Locations are deleted after 7 days.
Grandparents, sitters or carpool parents you add for set times. Havenlit Standard includes 2 helpers, and Havenlit Family has no limit.
In Settings, choose Delete a kid’s data. You can clear their history, or remove them from the family entirely, which deletes everything about them.
Open Havenlit, go to Settings and tap Restore purchases. Use the same Apple Account you subscribed with. Havenlit Family also works with Apple Family Sharing.
Subscriptions are handled by Apple. On your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose Havenlit. When your plan or free trial ends, the family moves to Free and nothing is deleted.
[How account deletion works in the app — not built yet.] Or email us from the address on your account and we’ll delete your account and its data.
